PIXEL TWIST

An exterior wall of The Frank, the City of Pembroke Pines’ new City Building and Cultural Center, becomes a permanent interactive artwork for public engagement and participation. This piece consists of a 7’ tall by 16’ long wall-mounted array of thousands of 1.5”x1.5” black and white cylinders that viewers can individually twist to create large-scale pictures and messages. Professional artists can use it to create mural-sized artworks for special events, and the public can make their temporary mark anytime.
