JUNIOR LEAGUE 80th ANNIVERSARY MONUMENT

Four CNC plasma-cut Aluminum panels, welded in a “zig-zag” on a concrete base with four accompanying, engraved aluminum plaques and inset exterior lights. Sculpture stands 99” tall, 51” wide, 66” deep. This artwork illustrates is a story told in silhouette, and is made up of four separate panels welded on edge at angles, so that the overall effect is of a folded and expanded two-dimensional space, like paper dolls. When viewed head-on, all four of the scenes line up to create a complete image of looking out over layered vistas. When walked around, each of the panels is viewable as its own distinct composition.
